Drama unfolds on The OC as claims and accusations fly! Following Sean Palmieri’s allegations against Austin Victoria regarding a threesome proposal, Austin responds with a fiery Instagram post.
If you haven’t yet tuned into The OC, now is the perfect time to dive in. With the release of Season 3 of the Selling Sunset spin-off on Netflix, the audience is abuzz with the tension between Oppenheim Group agents Sean and Austin.
In the latest season, Sean asserts that Austin and his wife Lisa made advances towards him, citing past flirtatious behavior. A heated confrontation ensues at the office where Sean elaborates, claiming: “You came on to me. You mentioned, ‘If I were single, the possibilities…I told you, ‘Austin, this isn’t appropriate.’ You disclosed your and your wife’s urge for experimentation, expressing openness towards certain activities.”
However, as the dispute unfolds, inconsistencies in Sean’s narrative surface, leaving Kayla questioning the veracity of his claims.
“In response to persistent direct messages and remarks, let me clarify…” Austin writes on Instagram, hinting at Kayla’s reactions in the finale. “First off, watch the entire season!!! Deception unravels and perceptions shift. The truth shall always prevail.”
Austin then alleges that Sean fabricated the entire scenario to gain on-screen presence.
“In the realm of reality TV, lack of screen time implies lack of pay. When you’ve departed your job and haven’t closed a deal in 2 years, desperation sets in,” he states. “Contrary to common belief, reality TV doesn’t foot the bills. In this domain, fabrications hold equal weight as facts. It’s a daunting reality!”
Austin further extends support to the LGBTQ+ community and refutes claims of his messages being “flirtatious” towards Sean. He clarifies, “Expressions like liking your posts, sending heart emojis or appreciating your gym progress (those legs)” are not suggestive of flirtatious intent. Sean misconstrued Austin’s leg compliment as flirtation.
“Lastly, I am a heterosexual male. I cherish my wife and we have never partaken in ‘experimentation’, nor do we intend to. Your personal choices are of no concern to me. I pass no judgment, pursue what brings YOU joy!”
Austin then shares a screenshot of a text exchange with Sean, where Sean appears grateful to Austin and Lisa for hosting him, proposing future hangouts.
In his caption, Austin emphasizes: “The final screen reveals our conversation on the night in question. No ‘awkward distance’ existed due to ‘strange vibes.’ In fact, the following week, we collaborated on brochures and door-to-door activities. We remained friends for a year post the alleged ‘provocative offer.’ I have concrete evidence!”
This dialogue occurred in January 2022. The OC Season 3 filming took place between September to November 2023.
Since the release of Season 3, Sean has remained silent and departed the Oppenheim Group in November 2023 post filming.
In an interview with TUDUM, Austin confirms the severed ties with Sean: “Communication between Sean and I has ceased, and the reasons are evident. He fabricated deeply personal allegations involving me and my wife. In response, I’ve chosen to move on, focusing on family, career, and providing my children a deserving livelihood. Drama no longer holds a place in my life.”
