Taylor Swift Shares Eras Tour Start Date

Could you recall when The Eras Tour initially kicked off? As Taylor Swift initiates her European tour leg, let’s reminisce on the inception of her global journey.

Since Taylor Swift instigated The Eras Tour over 12 months back, becoming TIME magazine’s 2023 individual of the year, it’s clear why she continuously forges ahead!

The past year saw Taylor extensively touring for her Eras Tour while simultaneously launching a fresh album, unveiling her personal concert film, and nurturing a robust romantic bond with partner Travis Kelce.

At present, it has been 14 months since Tay embarked on her worldwide journey, and there’s no halt in sight – her endurance is truly remarkable.

So, where and when exactly did Taylor officially launch her tour?

The Eras Tour commenced on March 17, 2023, in Arizona, United States, and is scheduled to conclude on December 8, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada. This signifies a total tour duration of 21 months for Taylor – quite an astonishing feat!

Entertaining a massive audience of 69,000 enthusiasts, the opening night of her tour became a history-maker, becoming the most attended female concert in US history, surpassing Madonna who previously held this record for an impressive 36 years.

Her extensive tour comprises 152 performances across five continents and has seen her grace stages in locations such as Singapore, Mexico, and Brazil.

The Grammy laureate embarked from North America and has already traversed Asia and South America, with the forthcoming phase set in Europe, where fans eagerly anticipate experiencing the spectacle in cities like Paris and London.

Throughout this tour, she has welcomed acts like Paramore, Haim, Phoebe Bridgers, and Girl in Red, alongside ‘Nonsense’ artist Sabrina Carpenter as her opening act.

Taylor has pleasantly surprised audiences with a duo of acoustic performances per show on her tour, with four of them set to feature in the Disney+ streamed version of her concert film.

During her premier show in Arizona, she presented ‘mirrorball’ and ‘Tim McGraw’ as special numbers, and more recently in Singapore, fans were treated to ‘Tim McGraw/Cowboy Like Me’ and ‘Mirrorball/Epiphany’.
