At the amfAR Gala during the Cannes Film Festival, Winnie Harlow and Paris Jackson held an auction for a walk-on part in the still unconfirmed fifth season of the Netflix series, which they stated is set to start production in mid-2025.

According to Variety, the winning bidder offered €250,000 for the opportunity to feature in the show and also to be at the LA premiere of season four with a plus one.

The original auction brochure did not include the word ‘contingent,’ seemingly presenting season five as a definite future project.

Headlined by Lily Collins, Emily in Paris season four will be unveiled in a two-part manner this year, with the first on the 15th of August and the follow-up on the 12th of September.

Significant filming for the new season took place in Italy, though the narrative’s reason for venturing there remains undisclosed.

Additionally, previous events will be pivotal following the season four cliffhanger, where Camille (Camille Razat) reveals her pregnancy with Gabriel’s (Lucas Bravo) child, which shatters Emily after her own developing affections for Gabriel throughout the series.

Moreover, Emily’s boyfriend Alfie (Lucien Laviwscount), employed at Maison Lavaux, is anticipated to make a comeback. Yet, it’s clear that Emily’s affections are tied elsewhere.
